Things We Found Interesting
1. Apparently Greta Gerwig (Barbie director) is slated to remake at least two Narnia movies for Netflix. Should be interesting.
2. Remember hearing about the “Bee Apocalypse” growing up? Beekeepers reported losses of 30-90% of their hives, with the bees mysteriously disappearing. Some people thought it was cell phones, others thought it was climate change, etc. Good news! Honeybee populations bounced back. The phenomenon lasted about 3-5 years and is no longer considered a major threat. Globally, honeybee populations increased 45% over the past 50 years and are at a record high. h/t to Liberty
3. 2024 Le Creuset 2024 Color Guide has dropped. Nate likes the Nectar and Sea Salt.
We are hoping to put together a summer reading list of the best beach reads featuring books that come highly recommended by you all. Our only requirement is that the book is an underground hidden gem and not just the latest Emily Henry or Colleen Hoover novel. If you have a book you love and would rate 4 stars or above, drop it in this form. We will put together a list and send it out in the next Power Nap!
