Kate, you are so good at helping. This advice is clear and inspiring. Thank you for taking the time to share such quality advice. This was a wonderful way to start my day.
I absolutely love this way of thinking through resolutions! Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom. I feel empowered now at the thought of creating some that fit my season instead of overwhelmed or like I’m doomed to fail.
So thankful for your Substack writing! Also, the battery charger gift was the hit gift I gave to my brother in law this year. Thank you for everything you share and happy New Year to the Stricklers!
I love this way of looking at resolutions- your advice is so thoughtful and truly inspiring. I don’t think I’ve ever thought about resolutions in this way and I’m excited to use your wisdom to make some awesome 2026 resolutions!!
Would love some guidance on a new goal (not resolution) to learn how to cook more for my family! I can follow a recipe pretty well, but the mental planning it takes for me to figure out how to use the same ingredients for multiple dinners a week while keeping variety (my fam needs variety!) and also reduce food waste is just so hard for me! Any recommendations on how to get started!?
Loved your book and your Substack articles! In fact, I gifted your book to a few dear friends as Christmas gifts. Do you plan to do any specials for the whole home reset course for the New Year? 🤞
I love this approach to resolutions. I've learned many of these things over the years, but you have articulated them so beautifully. I will be coming back to this in the next few days as I think over goals for myself for the new year. It is so freeing to focus on what will work best for you in your current season, not everyone else. Thanks, Kate!
Such practical advice! We just became empty nesters this fall and I'm finding myself with too much time on my hands and a lack of focus, which resulted in way too many evenings mindlessly scrolling my phone. Going to take the next few days to think intentionally on how to better spend our new found free time and setting smaller more achievable goals to build off of.
This was so helpful! Thank you for all the tips, especially about adjusting depending on the season you are in. A good reminder to be content where you are. Happy new year!
