Love, Love, Love Max Velocity. That Smores Pie looks divine and can easily be made gluten free. So going to try this

We’ve been watching Max again this week!

Can Jess give us more details about making that soup in the instant pot? Are we just using the sauté mode for everything until the noodles?

Kate Strickler's avatar

(This is Jess) yes! Sauté method for the first part of the recipe then add in all the liquids and pressure cook 5 min. Then add in the cheese/cream!

A more "reuse" hack for the water bottle + pump is to rinse out an old laundry detergent container and use that! It has been excellent for us!

Also so into the cart recommendation! Seems perfect!

Big fan of the audio clips! Saves my eyes and keeps me from never finishing a newsletter thanks to cute little interruptions 😂 I personally have no time/energy/mental space to keep up with another podcast but I love reading substack during lunch!

This is such helpful insight, thank you Mary!!

Do you have a rec for someone doing swimsuit reviews for shorter peeps (5’4”ish)? Short-ish torso here and haven’t yet found someone like me for brand/style recs for similar body type try on. Thanks!

Nate, Matthew said if you like Max Velocity you gotta watch Ryan Hall! We watch his live storm coverage with the kids and he does this alert called "Y'all Watches" https://www.youtube.com/@RyanHallYall

Thanks Michelle! I will check him out!

That water jug is genius! I actually have been looking for something like it for a mud kitchen for my kiddos, but didn't want a continuous flow (like a real faucet) because that would be seriously messy and also waste a lot of water. Most of the other "tank" versions also have an on/off switch, but again would probably be left on and then run out quickly. This would mean constantly refilling the tank. The pump solves this!! They can get it themselves, can play in the water, but no continuous flow to make a mess. Thanks!

yes!!! I am telling you Molly is so good at finding hacks like this. so glad this was helpful!!

You should try the tried and true chocolate chip cookie recipe from A Bountiful Kitchen! I love that one & also love the one from Broma Bakery (it uses browned butter)!

Kate Strickler's avatar

I'll have a hard time pivoting from this one, but if you say it's worth the try I want to!!

Make a blind taste test for your fam and report back which one everyone loves!

Kate Strickler's avatar

ok this is such a fun idea!! i should do this! if you had to pick just one of the two above...which would you do??

If you want classic, go for A Bountiful Kitchen!
